Just for Fun

Winter Holiday TBR

Every winter I find myself with the pleasurable prospect that I have 2 weeks holiday with no work, and therefore no obstacles to reading as much, or as late in the evening as I want!

One of the perks of being a public school teacher is that, every year, the State gives students and teachers 2 weeks of winter holiday to celebrate __(insert own December holiday you and your family celebrate)____.

This year I plan to take full advantage of the 2 weeks… I have already started my preparations with collecting all the books from my Goodreads TBR list from my local library –

I love sharing – and it is the season of sharing good things – so I thought I would list my Winter Holiday TBR. Most of which is currently stacked up neatly in piles on both sides of my bed. The picture above shows the majority of them; I think I only have a 4 or 5 stack on the other side…since I need to keep some space open on my nightstand for a place for hot chocolate and snacks…of course….

Without further ado — here is my list…after a couple pictures of my cats modeling the latest in holiday cheer. Misha and Yuki  do not appreciate wearing anything around their necks – including collars and….seasonal bow ties. But “Bowties are cool” and it is December. (Note: No animals were harmed in the following pictures, after I got the snapshot they escaped their bowtie prison very easily with no residual harm done)
