At the end of 2016, Laurel told Jessica that she was looking for a new book tradition – to find her book soulmate – a single book to reread every year. Inspired, Jessica and Laurel started this blog as a way to evaluate whether their favorite books have the “rereadability” factor.
Throughout 2017 (and beyond?) we will be rereading some of our faves – and some new ones – sharing which we think are the best to revisit again and again. We promise, we won’t just be rereading Harry Potter all year (as tempting as that may be).
Thanks for joining us on this adventure!

What a fun idea! I have two book soulmates– Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins and Chapterhouse: Dune by Frank Herbert. I’ll be watching to see what you two discover. I’m poly-bibliophilous.

Poly-bibliophilous is maybe the coolest descriptor ever. Love it. I haven’t actually read either of those, but Dune is on my TBR. I’ll have to check out the other one! And thanks for the support! -Jessica
